Here's what's NEW!

Saturday, April 08, 2000

Hi, two things:

1) I just installed the capability of loading an image on this weblog. I'm going to try to change it as often as I make entries, every day or three or four...
This is a view of the Catalina Mountains from my neighborhood, taken today around 4 PM. Overcast and choked with dust from a very windy afternoon.

2) Here's another neat site I visit often, THE POCKET INTERNET .
Check out the crazy collection of executables they have, perfect little e-mail companions.

Ha! How's this for a change...I take pictures of ghosttowns and things down here in the Sonoran Desert.
This guy takes pictures of Icebergs up in JUNE!!!

Oh, hey...before I forget, I guess by now if you're reading this you've been to some of my photo sites. You know...those picture collections of ghosttowns and things, the ones with all the ADVERTISING. I'm cheap, whatever, but I've been able to put upwards of 800 or more photos on line for ZILCH...that's right...not one RED cent!
I just wanted to turn you on to this ProHosting Free Web Hosting! in case you were interested in getting something together of your own.
No gain for me here, it's just I think these people are GREAT!
They'll host your homepage with NO advertising, and up to 10 or more meg at that!
That is something to be cherished my friends, considering the DELUGE of BUY...BUY...BUY we're confronted with across the web these days.
Just thought you might like to know...

Look at this....or rather....have you ever wanted to blend in???
Look what I've found...I think???
Custom Concealment, Inc.
Remember the "Swamp Thing" ?
He's probably behind all this...:-)

it's been a few days since I made an entry. I wanted to point you towards this page I recently put together called GhostTowns...Prisons...Wolves... where I'm experimenting with some floating text thingy. If you get a chance, let me know if it works for you.
Thanks! -Bill
